Instructions: How to Edit Your Header Graphics |
Once you've downloaded the header graphics, unzip them and you are ready to start editing! For each header graphic, there will be 2 files:
a .jpg and a .psd. The file you need to edit is the .psd. The easiest way to do this is by using Adobe Photoshop. Simply open the .psd file
and change the text to be whatever you want. Then save the file as a .jpg for use on your web site. It's that easy!
If you don't have Adobe Photoshop, you can still edit the graphics using the FREE Gimp Photo Editing Software! Download Gimp from
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html. You will need to download
and install both the "Gimp" and "GTK+2" packages for Gimp to run. The help files and animation packages are optional add-ons, but I highly
recommend you get them too.
